Happy Visits

They were a hit! So much so that we decided to keep ‘em going for the foreseeable future. For those that missed the memo, a “Happy Visit” is a free, 15-minute appointment designed to be a time for your pet to visit Eastwood under non-medical circumstances.

It’s a chance for them to meet the team, receive some happy pets, treats, and explore the space in a positive environment before having to come for a medical procedure or exam. It’s also a great time for you to meet the team, ask questions, and get a feel for the space before you decide to schedule the first exam with us.

EASTWOOD HIGHLIGHT

Something we’ll start doing on a regular basis is highlighting a particular feature of our space, our team, or our service. (Soon, we’ll give a dedicated shoutout to our amazing team.) But for now, take a look at one of my personal favorite features of our clinic: 

Our Lobby

We’re excited to change up the check-in experience, and our lobby is designed to help with that.

We want to make your visit as smooth and anxiety-free as possible, so we opted out of a standard reception area that you see in a lot of clinics. At Eastwood, you shouldn’t have to wait. In fact, our intention is that you would walk straight into your exam room, so we would either greet and escort you there as soon as you arrive, or we would send you a quick message beforehand: “head directly into exam room 1 and the team will be with you shortly.” 

We want to create an experience that eliminates the dog-on-dog traffic, especially for pets who are rather anxious about coming to a place that doesn’t always feel fun for them. On the off-chance you do have to wait to be seen, we have these semi-private cubbies with movable seating which would allow you and your pals to tuck into a cozy space while you wait on the team.

I’m gonna rapid-fire some other fun info now:

1. Appointments are OPEN! Right now, if you book before the end of the month (for any date in 2026), we’ll take half of the exam fee ($42.50 value) AND throw in a free nail trim.

2. Phones are live! If we don’t catch your call, leave a quick voicemail or shoot us a text and we’ll give you a ring during business hours. Go ahead and save us as a contact: 404-480-4383

3. Walk-ins? Drop-offs? We certainly will never turn you away, and we will do everything we can to fit you into the schedule, but we do highly recommend booking an appointment, especially while we are learning our flow and our space for the first time. For us to create an enjoyable and efficient appointment for you, appointments will always be best. If you don’t want to schedule an appointment through the website, give us a call, and we’ll get you set up!
