Celebrating 6 Months!

A couple weeks ago, we took the team to dinner to celebrate 6 months (!!!!!!) of Eastwood. Many of them are going off to various programs in the Fall, so it was also a “see-ya-later” (and “please come back!”) party, too. Here’s a blurry pic of us cheesin’ and having a good time:

This year has brought some of the hardest moments of my life, but it has also revealed that there is still so much goodness and compassion in the world.

The Eastwood community and your kindness has given me hope when I needed it most. Because of your support, I’m able to take another step forward this year with confidence.

Not having a my mother in my corner this year is irreplaceable, but what you guys have done is more than I could’ve ever imagined. I am now able to buy myself the items that my mom would’ve provided for my move-in, I am able to afford rent while awaiting my loan disbursement, I now have a financial buffer while starting school, and so much more thanks to you all.

Thank you for believing in me, for lifting me up, and for helping turn one of the hardest chapters of my life into one filled with hope and possibility. I will never forget it.

We’re ~Evolving~

As new business owners, we find ourselves constantly experimenting - with the client experience, our appointment “flow,” our tech, our scheduling, etc. etc. The list is endless (and sometimes a wee bit daunting). It all comes from a desire to continue improving and providing the best care possible.

As we get more established, we’re observing and listening to the needs of our clients and our neighbors. We’d love to hear from you about what you’d like to see at your local vet clinic. Feedback in any way is always welcome, but there are some specific things that we’re thinking about / considering and we’re wondering if any of this speaks to you, or if any one of these feels like it would have a positive impact on your experience when get trying to get veterinary care:

• Wellness plans or payment plans: are these important you? If so, what would they ideally contain?

• Offering appointments every Saturday (as opposed to only offering every other)

• Opening more slots during the week: by incorporating a second doctor (not by reducing appt time slots)
